GENERAL TERMS
When you make a reservation electronically through the website sammysotel.com, you are deemed to have accepted the pre-information form and the distance sales agreement presented to you.
All reservations made through our website are subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation (Official Gazette: 27.11.2014/29188).
Guests who complete the reservation process are considered to have read, understood, and accepted all of the terms and conditions set forth below.
NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION POLICY
Our hotel accepts all reservations made through online platforms under the "Non-Refundable" condition at a special discounted rate.
According to this policy:
- In the event that the reservation is canceled by the Guest for any reason, the total accommodation fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- If the guest fails to check in on the reserved dates, the accommodation fee will not be refunded, and the reservation will be automatically canceled.
- If the guest departs earlier than the reserved check-out date, no refund will be made for unused nights.
- By completing the reservation, the Guest expressly and irrevocably acknowledges acceptance of these “Non-Refundable” terms.
LEGAL BASIS: EXCEPTION TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
According to Article 15, paragraph (g) of the Distance Contracts Regulation issued under the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502,
for contracts relating to accommodation, transportation of goods, car rental, catering, and leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or within a specified period, the consumer has no right of withdrawal.
Accordingly, hotel accommodation services fall under the exceptions to the right of withdrawal.
Therefore, once the reservation is confirmed by the Guest, no right of withdrawal or cancellation exists under applicable law.
RESERVATION CHANGE REQUESTS
Requests for changes in reservation dates will be evaluated based on the hotel’s availability and are subject to the hotel management’s discretion.
Approval of such requests is not guaranteed.
If a date change is approved, any potential price differences resulting from new dates will be borne by the Guest.
FORCE MAJEURE
In cases of force majeure beyond the control of the Hotel (such as natural disasters, war, terrorist acts, pandemics, strikes, lockouts, or other unforeseeable events) that prevent the Hotel from providing services, the Hotel may be unable to fulfill its obligations.
In such cases, the Guest has the right to either receive a full refund or postpone the reservation to a future date determined by the Hotel.
This clause does not apply to cancellations initiated by the Guest.
PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION
Your reservation becomes final only after the full accommodation fee is paid via credit card or bank transfer/EFT.
If the Guest fails to make payment or cancels the transaction through the bank, the Hotel’s obligation to provide the service is nullified, and the Hotel reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the reservation.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF CREDIT CARD
If, after the accommodation service is provided, it is determined that the credit card used for payment was fraudulently or unlawfully used by unauthorized persons, and the accommodation fee is not paid to the Hotel by the relevant bank or financial institution,
the Guest accepts full personal responsibility for the accommodation fee and any related damages that may arise.
